Prerna Wanvari, Ronit Roy and Srman Jain
Adaalat (Contiloe Productions) on Sony Entertainment Television, has kept the audience glued to their TV sets with some mind-blowing cases and courtroom drama. We will now see the entry of the ‘supernatural element’ in the show to spice up things. So, gear up for a pulsating experience as KD Pathak (Ronit Roy) along with his team gets to solve cases with a difference. Ronit Roy, who essays KD, the lawyer who has an unblemished record of solving cases spoke to Tellychakkar.com on this special series. “India has a long tradition of superstitions and religious beliefs. I am no one to pass a judgment on this or say what is right and wrong. In Adaalat’s upcoming episodes, we will show you how some people use these (superstition and religious beliefs) to fool people,” avers Ronit. The series, which will go on for a month, will deal with four episodes wherein the supernatural will be on the wrong side and KD will not just fight the crime, but also the creatures of the outer world like Jinn, Chudail, Rakhshas etc. “It will be a challenge, since they can neither be seen nor felt, but the storyline is very interesting, which will add up to the entertainment value. We have shot extensively on various locations to make the sequences look really great and I am sure viewers will love it,” he adds. Also in line is the inclusion of two of his assistants, Srman (Srman Jain) and Sunaina (Prerna Wanvari) who will add freshness to the show. Talking about the two, the handsome actor said, “They will join me in my investigation and add more fun to the drama.” On being part of a detective show, Ronit observes, “Having worked on so many cases, my detective skills have definitely sharpened with the usage of logical reasoning used in all the cases,” he adds. Get ready viewers, for this looks to be an interesting phase in Adaalat.
