Kinshuk Mahajan to play the male lead in 4 Lions Films' next for Sony TV?

The handsome hunk Kinshuk Mahajan is a pure entertainer when it comes to the kind of roles that he has done on TV. After winning the hearts of viewers with his chocolate boy role of Ranveer Rajvansh in Sapna Babul Ka.. Bidaai, the actor took up a multi-shaded character in Chand Chupa Badal Mein. He later went on to play the loving husband Pintu Singh, in Afsar Bitiya. Kinshuk now looks forward to the release of his maiden Tollywood movie. However, the actor has recently been flooded with offers on television. And it looks as though Kinshuk is now ready to choose the best and stage a return on small screen. A reliable industry source tells us that he was almost short-listed to play the lead role in Life OK’s Do Dil Ek Jaan, in the post leap story. However, the fact that the actor was already in talks for a big show of Sony Entertainment Television (to shape up over the next year) apparently stopped him from taking the Life OK project. With this information, we dug in further to derive some more details. And we have got to hear that 4 Lions Films (makers of the ongoing Qubool Hai on Zee TV and Arjun on Star Plus) are presently working on a fresh concept for Sony TV. And they have zeroed in on Kinshuk Mahajan to play the lead. The source further said that the Sony TV show is expected to come only in April 2014. So there is ample time left before coming to any kind of a conclusion. As of now, the channel and production house are keen to rope in Kinshuk, and have informed about this to the actor too. However, there is still a long way to go before things can really formalize. When contacted, Kinshuk told us, “Yes, I am in talks for a show on Sony TV. However, there is nothing that I can talk of it. Nothing has been finalized.” We sent a text message to Sneha Rajani, Business Head, Sony Entertainment Television, but did not receive any reply. Producer Gul Khan said, “Nothing is final.” Let’s wait and see if Kinshuk is destined to be part of this fresh concept.
