Mahabharat’s Krishna, Saurabh Raaj Jain to make an appearance on Life OK’s Mahadev

Mohit Raina, the Mahadev of Life OK’s popular show Devon Ke Dev.. Mahadev (Triangle Films Company) added to the charm of Star Plus’ magnum presentation Mahabharat by playing the character of Mahadev earlier. And now it is the turn of Mahabharat’s Krishna to grab audiences’ attention in the Life OK show. Yes, Saurabh Raaj Jain who essays the role of Lord Krishna in Swastik Productions’ Mahabharat on Star Plus will be brought in to defeat the mighty Banasur (Vikramjeet Virk) in Mahadev. A source informs us, “A particular sequence in Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev requires Lord Krishna to defeat the villain Banasur. Since Saurabh Raaj Jain gained immense popularity as Krishna in Mahabharat, Life OK requested the makers of the show (Swastik Productions) to permit the actor to shoot for the sequence. However, Swastik Productions initially refused, as the actor is under an exclusive contract with them.” Well, this is when the channel intervened and made things happen!! “Life OK and Star Plus resolved things and Saurabh Raaj Jain was released to shoot as Krishna for Mahadev,” added our source. When we contacted Producer of Swastik Productions, Siddharth Tewary for a confirmation on the same, he averred, “There is no question of us objecting to Saurabh Raaj Jain not essaying Krishna in any other show. I feel that no one else can essay Krishna apart from him on television today. In fact, he is a part of Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev as Lord Vishnu and he will essay the same in Mahabharat too in tonight’s episode.” Channel sources informed that the matter was a trivial issue and has been resolved internally.
