Megha Gupta replaces Mahhi Vij in Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui

Mahhi Vij, who was to essay the role of Mandakini in the love story inspired from Mandakini-Dawood Ibrahim's story for Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui, has been replaced by Megha Gupta at the last minute. Mahhi was to start shoot when she had to be hospitalized owing to an eye problem. This is when the makers brought in Megha to don the role. When contacted, Megha confirmed the news stating, “Yes, I am shooting for Yeh Hai Aashiqui. It is a very different role that of an aspiring actress who gets helped by a Bhai named Danish. It is a good team to work with, and as you know, Yeh Hai Aashiqui is shot differently.” As we have written earlier, Sarwar Ahuja will essay the role of Dawood in this show produced by Lost Boy Productions and BBC Productions.
