MUMBAI: Varun Badola is a well-known name in the television world as he has been part of many shows. Some of his TV projects include Banegi Apni Baat, Koshish - Ek Asha, Aroona Irani's Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand, and Astitva... Ek Prem Kahani. His latest show is Sony TV's Mere Dad Ki Dulhan.

On the personal front, he is married to actress Rajeshwari Sachdev. Varun met Rajeshwari on the sets of the musical show, Antakshari, and even though they have done several projects together otherwise and on stage, the couple has never been cast together in a TV show.  In a recent interview with Bombay Times, he was asked if he would want to work with wife Sachdev, he mentioned how nobody has ever offered a show or a film to him and her to share the screen together. He mentioned about the one show they did together (Antakshari), where they fell in love and got married. He added that however he now feels that acting with her will he awkward and it will be like working with a new actress, and only that's why he feels that.
