In a recent interview, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 Parth Samthaan revealed that his father could not witness his son's first self-bought house as he passed away the same year itself. Read on for deets...

MUMBAI: Telly actor Parth Samthaan is quite a man of demand from the entertainment industry, owing to his good looks, charming attitude and fine acting chops on-screen.

The actor debuted on the small screen with Channel V's Gumraah - End Of Innocence back in 2012 and went on to play many typical chocolate-boy roles in popular teen shows like Bindass channels' Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Zing's Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and MTV India's  Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan. He gained immense popularity amongst the young viewers for portraying the role of Manik Malhotra in the lattermost show, opposite telly actress Niti Taylor.

Parth bagged his most iconic television role till date by portraying the character of Anurag Basu in Ekta Kapoor's classic romantic saga - Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, post-which he claimed immense popularity nation-wide and became a household fame as one of the most eligible bachelor in the entertainment industry. His on-screen chemistry with telly actress Erica Fernandes was supremely lauded and the duo even won a few awards together.

Now, in a recent interview, Parth reportedly claimed that he is prepping up for his first ever silver-screen project, much of which is yet unknown. Continuing the same discussion, Parth revealed that his father, who had been a big pillar of strength for his family and himself, would not be able to watch his first silver-screen debut as he is no more.

Grieving on the same, Parth recalled that he wanted his father to be by his side at his every step of success. For belonging from a family having no link with the world of showbiz, witnessing their son becoming more secure, safe, prosperous and successful in life is a bigger deal over witnessing him climbing newer heights.

However, it was of sheer misfortune that his father had passed away the same year when he bought for himself his first self-owned property (a house) in the city of dreams, hence, he could not witness Parth's first step towards his self-establishment in the industry. However, Parth asserted that he's glad his mother could witness his progress and showered him with immense love and blessings for the same and further assured that even his father would be ushering unlimited blessings over him on his success from wherever he is.

Recalling the difficult phase he underwent with his dad's passing away, Parth said, "Right now, I would say that I'm sure from wherever he's watching me, he would be really glad to see the different avatar, in fact he would like it because it's more of a 'men's zone' and every father would like that ki kuch toh bhai jaisa kiya hai....ya mardon jaisa kiya hai and all that....".
