Poonam expecting her second child

Poonam Narula Goel is stepping into motherhood for the second time. The actress, who kept a low-profile for quite sometime, is expecting her second child. Poonam is currently acting in a soap titled Astitva on Doordarshan. Off late, she was not taking up much work as she wanted to devote her time to the family. This serial just takes three days off from her week. She is in the eight month of her pregnancy and still working. Interestingly, Poonam had worked for nine months during her first pregnancy. She was then acting in Kkusum . Poonam continues to shoot as she is passionate about her work. Hubby Manish says, “I am very excited. My son and I are hoping that it’s a girl. Infact, I have a strong feeling that it’s a girl. Our son is a complete mama’s boy so this time I want a daughter as they are usually more attached to their fathers.” Will Poonam take up work post delivery? Manish replies, “Her priority will be kids and thus she will not be taking much work. Also, she will keep herself busy by being actively involved with our home production. She has also liked one of the roles penned down by me and has expressed the desire to play the same. Let’s see how things shape up.” Poonam was not available for her comment.
