The very good-looking Rafi Malik who is playing the lead in Desh Ki Beti Nandini (Rashmi Sharma Productions) in Sony Entertainment Television has come a long way in his two months of acting career. And the actor is happily basking in the love and affection he has been receiving from the public, especially his female fans.
Talking to Tellychakkar.com, the actor states, “My friends have made a fan page of me on Facebook and I am surprised that the hits are increasing every day. It definitely feels special with so much attention. Also when I go out, people recognize me as Rajveer and it really feels great. From an unknown face I have finally gained some recognition and hope to carry it forward.”
When we asked him about his female fans following, Rafi blushes and responds, “Oh, they are really sweet. They keep pinging me to talk to them and want to meet me. They get angry when I don’t reply and some also indulge in discussions as to why I don’t come online. I just want to tell them that I am busy at times and cannot reply to everyone, but I am thankful for all their love.”
So is he enjoying all this adulation? “I don’t get proper time to enjoy it (winks) but it surely is fun.”
So has all this popularity changed him, we wonder. The affirmative actor exclaims, “I am still the same Rafi for my friends and family. I don’t believe in mixing my professional and personal life and thus there can never be any change. I am still the happy go lucky kind of a simple and decent guy who tries to stay away from anything negative.”
And when we commented that he has improved a lot in his performance, Rafi quips, “It’s all thanks to my team. They are very supportive and encouraging. My director believes in giving me space and time to rehearse and improve my acting and Keerti too helps me in working on our scenes.”
“Earlier I used to take a lot of time to give one shot, take the script a day before and prepare it at home, but now I can proudly say that I can do all of it in quick time. All my efforts and hard work is finally showing colors. My expressions and dialogue delivery have developed better, and my team is quite satisfied with it,” he shares.
We surely vouch for that Rafi and hope your quest for perfection takes you a long way in your career ahead.
