The Beintehaa fame actress, Preetika Rao, got royal treatment during her recent outing to the pink city aka Jaipur.

It was her first ever visit to Rajasthan and  she thoroughly enjoyed her trip.

She shared, “I had heard a lot about the art, craft and architectural heritage of Jaipur and it lived up to its reputation. On my day one, I was welcomed with garlands and the ceremonial tika. The best part was  the traditional turban on my head.”

She continued, “Traditional Rajasthani dancers performed a beautiful number, while balancing four pots on their heads. I accompanied them and also sang folk songs."

She added further, "Traditional Marwadi cuisine was served on a silver platter, which made me feel like a princess."

"The next day, I took an elephant ride to the Amer Fort for my photoshoot. The Amer fort was mesmerising, it's the same place where Bajirao Mastani was shot. I also visited The Albert Hall.  It was a short visit, which left me wanting for more," she signed off.
