Ragini Shah to enter Diya Aur Baati Hum

Ragini Shah
Shashi-Sumeet Mittal’s Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus is one show that has put the TRP chart on fire. Via its superb storyline, majestic performances and effective direction, it has managed to gain the no.1 position toppling Star Plus’ biggie soap, Rashmi Sharma’s Saath Nibhana Saathiya. However, the achievement is just a beginning for many more success stories in the coming future. To make the plot more interesting and juicier, the makers have decided to bring in Ragini Shah – who was seen in Gulaal on Star Plus–as Bhabo’s (Neelu) mother-in-law, Maasa. Our source informed us that Bhabo will receive the surprise of her life when Maasa will decide to visit the Rathi family. Maasa will be strict and very dominating by nature. “If Bhabo is hari mirch then Maasa will be lal mirch. Even Bhabo will be scared of Maasa,” the source went on to divulge. We talked to Sumeet Mittal and he confirmed Ragini’s entry and said that it’s a very “interesting” character. "I am playing the character of a self-centered woman who loves to wear jewellery. Furthermore, Everyone in the family has to obey my command.Massa is different and after a long time I am excited to play some character," said Ragini. She will begin to shoot from tomorrow (31 January 2012) Furthermore, in the show, viewers have already witnessed Sandhya’s (Deepika Singh) fighting spirit but it seems that there will be no end to her miseries. In the upcoming episodes, she will take up Bhabo’s challenge and learn the art of puppet making. Great fun, it seems!!!
