Doordarshan is coming up with a new drama series titled MBA Sarpanch, based on the life of Chhavi Rajavat. Chhavi is the Sarpanch of her village Soda which is somewhere around Jaipur. Rajavat is an MBA from Shri Balaji society, Pune. Gajendra Singh who is also the producer confirmed that Saaibaba Telefilms is all set to bring up a fictiona lised version of her life. The young visionary left her corporate job and city life to develop rural India. She became the Sarpanch of Soda, a village that is sixty kilometers away from Jaipur. Rajavat has carried our several projects for the development of the village including rain water harvesting; installing toilet facilities in most houses so on and so forth. Actress Ritu Khanna has been roped in to play Chhavi’s character. The serial is being produced by Saaibaba Telefilms. The daily soap will be aired from 7:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M, every Monday to Friday.
