SAB TV’s Baal Veer completes 200 episodes

Baal Veer
‘If you believe in fairies, then clap your hands.’ In J.M Barrie’s classic novel Peter Pan, the characters were asked to clap to bring back to life the dying fairy Tinkerbell. In SAB TV’s fairy show Baal Veer (Optimystix) there may be no fairy with the same name who has to be brought back to life by a loud round of applause. There are numerous beautiful fairies instead who by their sweet nature and angelic deeds have made this series reach the milestone of 200 episodes today (28 June 2013). So put your hands together to celebrate this achievement of this serial. The first person we were to contact was Dev Joshi who plays the super boy Baal Veer in the show. He excitedly told us, “I feel great. May our project run into 1000 or 2000 episodes. It has been great fun playing this extra-ordinary kid. If I had super powers like him in real life I would also have helped humanity just like he does.” Shama Sikander who plays Bhayankar Pari said, “It feels great. People love the show, especially the kids and it feels great that all our hard work has been paying off well. I wish the whole team thousands of episodes more to come.” Manisha Thakkar who plays Bhatakhti Pari on the show added, “This show is delivering good TRPs and is highly popular among kids. When they recognise me they come and give me a tight hug. Some of them watch each and every episode and are curious to know what is happening in the upcoming tracks.” If there are really fairies in this universe, let’s hope that they shower their magical blessings on this serial, so that in continues for years to entertain both children and adults who have a child in them.
