Sachin Shroff, who plays Girish in Life OK’s Tumhari Paakhi, is quite happy with the way his show has been progressing.
“There are hardly four or five main characters around which the story revolves. The graph of my character that of a poet has been shaping up just that way I was promised. Girish acts as a bridge between his wife Lavanya (Rukhsar Rehman) and Pakhi (Shraddha Arya), who she (Lavanya) does not like one bit. He is also the principal thread between Anshuman (Iqbal Khan), Lavanya and Pakhi. The show is also now doing well on the TVT front and our numbers have also gone up to 1.3,” claims Sachin.
At this point, Sachin informs us that since Tumhari Paakhi is a show of a short duration, it will end soon. “The producers (Shashi Sumeet Productions) have however told me not to look out for fresh work elsewhere as they are pitching shows and have something in mind for me. It is a good feeling when producers repose this kind of confidence in you,” he observes.
Sachin who has been around in the TV world for a long time avers, “One of the reasons why I have managed to survive so long is that I have always attempted to do different roles; be it a of a simple man or a good son/ husband, or a rapist in Saat Phere.” The actor was also seen in Nagin, Balika Vadhu and more recently in Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat.
The Ek Thi Naayka actor who became a dad last year is extremely pleased with his fatherhood experience. “I am learning so much. Luckily since I am not engaged 25 days a month, I get good time to spend with my daughter Samaira,” he adds.
“Right now for both my wife Juhi (Juhi Parmar) and me, our 11-month old princess is our whole world. Recently we went to Goa for a couple of days leaving Samaira behind in safe hands, we were kind of always worried about her. And when our return flight got delayed by a few hours, we got very much finicky,” he reveals.
Stay blessed, Sachin!!!
