Sandhya to miss her fast on Teej in Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum

With Sooraj (Anas Rashid) and Sandhya (Deepika Singh) walking out of their house, the drama in Star Plus’ popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum (Sashi Sumeet Mittal Productions) seems to be intensifying. Now, in the coming episodes, Sandhya will see herself failing as a biwi and bahu. How? Why? Well, with the Teej festival round the corner, the entire Rathi household will be preparing for the festival. But with the eldest bahu away from the family, Bhabho (Neelu Waghela) will be apprehensive on whether Sandhya would be observing fast without the guidance of the family elders. As a source informs us, “Taking it as a certainty that Sandhya will fast for him, Sooraj goes ahead preparing for the ritual only to find out that she had completely forgotten about the fast. An embarrassed Sandhya will then seek forgiveness from Sooraj.” Initially Bhabho would think of reminding Sandhya about the fast, but she will overhear Sooraj talking to a mehndi wali and will be assured that the couple will be celebrating the festival. But to her dismay, Bhabho will be let down, added the source. Bhabho, who was against Sandhya’s dreams of becoming an IPS officer as she felt that she would start ignoring her duties at home, will be proven right when the family realises Sandhya’s folly. Sooraj, who had been supporting Sandhya in every step, will also be taken aback by this irresponsible act of his wife. Well, how will Sandhya react to her mistake and how will she make up for it?
