Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke completes 400 episodes

Shakuntalam Telefilms’ Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke (SSLK) on Zee TV has reached the milestone of airing 400 successful episodes today (22 November 2013). This definitely calls for celebration. So is the team partying tonight? Came pat responses from the actors in the show. “I had no idea about the completion”, Roopal Tyagi (Gunjan) “Not really”, Ankit Gera (Mayank) “I am shooting” Mahima Makwana (Rachana) Ooops! Does this mean there is no celebration on the cards? Well, not really! There will be a small celebration on the sets tomorrow (23 November 2013), as a source tells us, “Since most of the actors aren’t shooting today, we decided to bring in the cake tomorrow.” Now let’s have a look at the reaction of the show’s leads … “I am not on the sets today so they better celebrate tomorrow,” Roopal laughs out loud. “I am looking at 500 episodes for now, which means there are 100 more to go. Our next target would be to complete 1000 episodes and probably we won’t call our show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke after that. It will be a grown up show by then,” she adds. Says Ankit, “I am very happy and am looking forward to complete 1000 episodes next.” Mahima went on to give the credit of this to the entire cast and crew. “It’s everybody’s hard work that has brought us this far. Thus the credit of 400 episodes goes to one and all.” Furthermore, Producer Shyamasis Bhattacharya went on to observe, “So far, it's been a superb journey. The fact that we have been able to take interesting issues related to young girls and older women alike and handle them within the realm of soapy storytelling and yet get good ratings has been very satisfying. We have very regularly got the feedback from viewers that they watch SSLK because it feels very close to their lives and stands out as a different show which subtly teaches them about different aspects of relationship.” So, are you aiming for a thousand episodes now? “Of course, we look forward to cross many such milestones while keeping the different identity of the show alive,” the producer ends.
