Saurabh Dubey and Rasika Duggal to be seen in Epic TV's Dariba Diaries

Tellychakkar.com had exclusively reported about a historical show titled Dariba Diaries being made for Epic TV, which is going to be India’s first genre specific Hindi entertainment channel. We had also reported about Sid Makkar essaying the lead role in this 26 episodic series produced by Kapil Mattoo, that dates back to the 18thcentury wherein the lead protagonist solves cases that come to him. Saurabh Dubey who has been seen in both movies and television we hear, is also part of the show. He essays the role of Kotwal Govind Singh who is guardian to the main lead, Sid Makkar. Rasika Duggal who is a theatre personality and has done few films will play the love interest of Sid Makkar in the series. When contacted, Saurabh Dubey confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I am presently shooting for a show to-be-launched in Epic TV. However, I cannot talk about anything more.” We hear that the unit is presently shooting in some of the renowned palaces in and around Gujarat. The channel Epic TV is slated to launch sometime in August (2013).
