Sayantani Ghosh is not bothered about Meri Maa's low TRPs

Shree Venkatesh Films’ Meri Maa on Life OK is not doing “okay” these days with its TRPs not managing to climb up on the ladder. In today’s scenario in the world of television, a show’s fate is governed by numbers. Every producer, actor and channel wants to vroom ahead in the race of TRPs. But there is one actress who is not really bothered about it. We are talking about Bengali bombshell Sayantani Ghosh who is playing the role of Pratibha in Meri Maa. “I am an actor and TRPs don’t affect me,” shared the sultry and svelte beauty who started her career with Kumkum. She continued, “I work all seven days a week and I don’t get time. My job is to act, perform well and leave. The channel and the production house have to deal with the numbers.” Sayantani is proud to be Pratibha in the show and she believes that she is doing “absolute justice to the character”. “I love my role. Any actor would dream to play a character like Pratibha. It’s very challenging.” Finally, she said that she is currently too busy with Meri Maa –as she shoots for 15 days at a stretch – and has no time to take up any other project. “I am dying to take a break,” she concluded.
