Shailesh Gulabani to embark Ladies Special

Shailesh Gulabani is a very elated these days, reason being he been chosen to work with his would-be-wife Ashita Dhawan. He will soon be seen in Sony’s Ladies Special as a Maharashtrian guy called Abhay. He will be paired opposite Sreejita De who is also a new entrant of the show. Undoubtedly, Shailesh is very excited about the idea of working with his lady love Ashita, with who he will tie the sacred knot come January. The actor will get to spend a lot of time with her and this is also the reason which made him grab the offer. An excited Shailesh says, “Yes I will be entering Ladies Special soon and I am very happy that I have got a chance to work with my to-be wife. Very few couples get the opportunity of working together on screen, excluding reality shows and I am lucky to have that chance”. Elaborating on his character he says, “Ladies Special has got an extension and now there is a new Maharashtrian family coming in picture. I play Abhay, one of the members of that family. Sadly I am not paired opposite Ashita”. He goes on to inform, “This is one unusual role that I have ever played. Abhay is a very different guy; he even dresses up in an ordinary manner. I hope he clicks with the audience”. Talking about the show, there is a buzz that it’s going for a makeover. As a result most of the old faces on this show will be leaving and making way for new ones. Clearing the air, Shailesh says, “It’s not that the old characters are leaving the show, the fact being that their tracks will be getting over. The actors in question are currently shooting but will be gradually leaving”. For some time, Ladies Special will focus on Shailesh and Sreejita and eventually new actors will join in.
