Shaleen Malhotra dons a cop's role again in Sony TV's Encounter; Hanif Hilal roped in

The dashing Shaleen Malhotra is even today remembered as ‘Arjun’, the popular cop of the Star Plus show. Fans of Shaleen who have been missing the man’s flamboyant action as the cop can now rejoice as they will get to see him playing a cop yet again. Wow, how nice is this? Yes, Shaleen will now be seen essaying the role of the famous encounter specialist of the 90’s, Daya Nayak in the upcoming episode of Sony TV’s Encounter, produced by Endemol India. His character in the episode will be named Achal Kutty. Giving him company as the dreaded ganster will be noted dancer cum choreographer cum actor, Hanif Hilal. Hanif will essay the role of Sheikh Dabbawala. When contacted, Shaleen told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, it is true that I play a cop in one of the episodics of Encounter. I have taken up this role only for the fans of Arjun. They have been longing to see me back at least once as a cop. I do not know whether we will get to see a Season 2 of Arjun. And this role is only for these fans, and I am happy that I got an opportunity to please them.” Hanif on his part said, “Well, I have nothing to say at the moment. Yes, talks are on, but I seriously cannot comment on anything.” Hanif and Shaleen have started shooting for Encounter from yesterday (15 June).
