Romance will become stronger in Colors’ Shakti (Rashmi Sharma Productions) with the entry of a new face.

As Tellychakkar.com had exclusively informed readers about Harman’s (Vivian Dsena) family trying to find a match for her, the makers have now finalised on the same.

Pretty Bong beauty Shiwani Chakraborty, who has been part of shows like Ajab Gajab Ghar Jamai, Taraak Mehta and more, has been signed to play the new girl opposite Vivian Dsena.

Shared a source, “Shiwani will play the character of a sweet young girl Mahi in the track ahead. She will know the family from ages and have a secret admiration for Harman. When the family will approach her for engagement, she will be more than happy to accede.”

Mahi will be aware about Harman-Saumya’s (Rubina Dilaik) marriage, yet accept the proposal for the sake of her beating heart.

We called up Shiwani who said, “I am really excited to bag the show. The character is a very beautiful one and I am looking forward for my stint in Shakti.”
