The experimental and challenging project Gulmohar Grand on Star Plus definitely was worth a watch.

The Sunshine Productions venture not only made a revolution on Indian TV with its different concept but also for the first time brought the hospitality sector so closely on our TV screens.

Starring the talented Aakanksha Singh in a different avatar along with Gaurav Chopraa, the weekend slot project although could not garner numbers it was much appreciated by audience and industry alike.

And today (3 September) the series is all set to wrap up its shoot and are filming their last episode.

Shared a source, “With finally all loose ends getting a conclusion, Gulmohar Grand will see a happy ending with Annie reconciling with her grandfather.”

When we buzzed Aakanksha she said, “It has been a really short and sweet journey with Gulmohar Grand and I really enjoyed every bit of it. Creatively it has been a really satisfying project for me and I am really glad that I could break the image of a mother. I am taking back all good things with this show. I am really hoping that such interesting and exciting roles are offered to me next also.”

We could not reach Gaurav Chopraa and Producer Sudhir Sharma for a comment.

The show although would run for a while on TV now.
