The actors waited for long and viewers longer, but there’s been no looking back since Ye Hai Mohabbatein hit screens on Star Plus. Receiving tremendous response from viewers, the Balaji Telefilms’ show completed 100 episodes yesterday (9 April).
The serial is a mature love-hate story of Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi), who get married to each other. And all that for the sake of his young daughter, Ruhi.
On the happy occasion, lead Divyanka cooked halwa for everyone on the sets to celebrate.
We spoke to Divyanka who said, “This has been an outstanding journey and actually surprising. I have fallen in love with the show. I knew the serial will do well, but the reception that we got from fans and that too at the late slot of 11 pm is surely encouraging.”
“Everyone I meet are watching the show and praising our efforts, so I am really happy. And I wish the show completes 1000 and 5000 episodes with consistent good storyline. We cut many cakes on the sets yesterday and I also made halwa. Soon the entire cast and crew will get together and have a party and celebrate the happy occasion,” smiled the pretty actress.
Here is a picture of Divyanka making halwa. And another one of the cake the cast cut yesterday, shared on Twitter by Anita Hassanandani, who plays the evil Shagun in the show.
