Tanaaz and Bhakhtyar Irani in Hatsoff Productions’ next on SAB TV

Tanaaz and Bhakhtyar Irani, the lovely and affable real life couple, are set to make a comeback on Indian television with Hatsoff Productions’ upcoming show on SAB TV. The production house which over the years has churned out some fantastic serials on different channels (Khichadi, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Baa Bahu Aur Baby, Shree among others) with the above SAB TV project intends to reinvent the comic genre via some rib tickling content. As reported earlier, the yet to be titled show will replace Jeannie Aur Juju from 9 June (2014) at the 9.30 PM slot. Talented Sumeet Raghavan (Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo) will play the lead while Vinay Rohrra (last seen in Saubhagyavati Bhava) will enact Sumeet’s younger brother. When we contacted Tanaaz, she confirmed the news and shared, “Yes, I and Bhakhtyar are part the show but it’s at an initial stage and would not divulge any future details.” Producer JD Majethia said, “I would not like to talk much about the show as you never know when a project can get scrapped even after having everything in place. I have experienced this situation twice in my profession. In fact, the promo of the show was supposed to go on- air from 2 May but then the channel had different plans.
