The cast and crew of Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev will miss Sadhil Kapoor (chota Ganesha)

Sadhil Kapoor (chota Ganesha)
All good things have to come to an end someday. Viewers were loving to watch the chubby and cute Sadhil Kapoor as the child Ganesha on Life OK’s Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev (Triangle Film Company). His co-stars also adored him and would pull his cheeks. Our source revealed to us, “Our show will now be showing the Ramayan track. During the Treta Yuga, Ganesha wasn’t a child anymore but a married man. This is why Ganesha had to grow up in the series for reasons of factual accuracy.” Sadhil shot his last scene last night (24 June 2013). As expected he was sad after shooting it. The cast and crew gave him a farewell by cutting a cake. He told us, “Of course I am sad that my character is growing up but in a way I am happy too. I will be taking a break from acting for a while during which I will be pursuing the activities which I was missing out on while I was acting in this serial. In a way, it was tough to do this role. It took one and a half to two hours to put on the mask. It took thirty minutes to take off the mask.” When will we see him in another show again? “I will accept a new role as long as it is strong, challenging and enjoyable.” We also contacted Rushiraj Pawar who plays Kartikeya to discover that though his character is growing into an adult too, he will not be replaced. The actor who is currently a student of Class XI, is almost an adult anyway. “The adult Kartikeya will be wearing a moustache. In fact today, I will shoot my first scene as the grownup God.” He added that he will miss Sadhil. “It was great to work with him. We did so many scenes together. He would often come to my makeup room- that is something I always looked forward to.”
