Here you go… (Collation is done in alphabetical order). Bade Achche Lagte Hain-This Balaji Telefilms produced show has managed to infuse a new lease of life to Sony Entertainment Channel. This mature love story of Ram (Ram Kapoor) and Priya (Sakshi Tanwar) has weaved a new chapter in the history of Indian television. Their chemistry is mind bogglingly cute and given the show’s popularity and reach…we are sure it will scale greater heights in the future. Balika Vadhu- Balika Vadhu has always been a TRP grosser for Colors. This project produced by Sphere Origins has a social plot and has seen a terrific journey with Avika Gor moving out and Pratyusha Banerjee coming in as Anandi. Each and every actor throws in a wonderful performance, making it one of the most sort after shows even after years of airing now. Crime Patrol-Crime Patrol, produced by Optimystix, and airing on Sony Entertainment Television, has opened new doors in terms of shows based on crime related plot. It came, conquered and paved the way for flurry of other shows with identical plot on diverse channels. TRPs have always patted the project’s back and one cannot, but praise Anoop Soni for his superb anchoring skills. Diya Aur Baati Hum- What more can be said about this show produced by Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd. It has been the number one serial for months together now airing on Star Plus. People, all across the globe, simply love the subtle yet lovely and poignant chemistry between Suraj (Anas Rashid) and Sandhya (Deepika Singh). Recently it completed 300 successful episodes and we are sure that it will entertain viewers for many more episodes in the future. Devon… Ke Dev Mahadev- Boy oh boy…never has a mythological show been so loved and revered on television in recent times. Produced by Triangle Film Company and airing on Life OK…the show has gained a cult status. With a gripping plot, meticulous execution, superb performances and some eye grabbing special effects…Mahadev is indeed a “wow” of a show. And folks…Mohit Raina is one helluva good looking “Shivji”. Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai- Ek Hazaaron…has an immense fan following and some superbly good looking and talented actors…namely Niaa Sharma (Maanvi), Krystle Dsouza (Jeevika), Karan Tacker (Viren) and Kushal Tandon (Virat). Produced by Cinevistaas…the show with its sister bonding and current cancer track is a favourite amongst the masses. Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon- Now…this one had to be on the list as it has one of the most celebrated and loved jodis of Indian television… namely Arnav and Kushi… played by Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani, respectively. Produced jointly by 4 Lions Films and IMRC Entertainment (airing on Star Plus)…the creatives have weaved a wonderful love story which will be remembered for years to come for sure. Pavitra Rishta- One of the longest running shows on Indian Television, this Zee TV offering produced by Balaji Telefilms claimed Himalayan heights of popularity with the chemistry between Archana and Manav. Archana is Ankita Lokhande…but Manav, earlier played by Sushant Singh Rajput, was later replaced by Hiten Tejwani. The show took a leap and still bags good numbers and is vividly watched by the masses. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah- This show tickles the hell out of you. Yes, the flagship show of SAB TV, this Neela Telefilms project has entered the bedrooms of each and every Indian now. And not to mention…its global popularity. We thank...Dayaben (Disha Vakhani) and Jethalal (Dilip Joshi)…and the entire gang of Gokuldham Society for making our lives a lot more colourful. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai-This Director’s Kut product airing on Star Plus completed 1000 successful episodes yesterday (12 October 2012). The chemistry of Naitik (Karan Mehra) and Akshara (Hina Khan) is heavenly. We wish Yeh Rishta…much more success in the future.
