Vaishnavi Dhanraj, not Pavitra Punia to play Hidimba in Star Plus' Mahabharat

Earlier in the day we reported about Pavitra Punia getting the role of Hidimba in Star Plus’ Mahabharat (Swastik Productions), but now confirmed sources have informed that the girl has been replaced by Vaishnavi Dhanraj, who was last seen in Colors’ Madhubala. Vaishnavi, the leggy lass, who has charmed audiences with her acting talent in Na Aana Iss Des Meri Laado will be seen playing the character of the Rakshashi Hidimba opposite Bheem (Saurav Gujjar). Hidimba will have a son from Bheem, Ghatotkach, whom she will bring up all on her own. Vaishnavi confirmed the development and said she is excited to portray the role. The entry of the actor will be shown in a couple of week. Pavitra Punia remained unavailable.
