Vishal Singh stormed into the world of Indian television with his super cool performance in Dekh Bhai Dekh. Currently, he is playing the character of Jeet in DJ’s A Creative Unit’s show Parvarrish - Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi on Sony Entertainments. And guess what? He is having a ball shooting for the show. “I enjoy being a part of the soap as it is quite refreshing from the mundane kitchen politics which dominate the airwaves today. It focuses on the universal issue of parenting without getting over-dramatic and preachy,” says Vishal. But the actor is yet to get married. So can he identify with the role of being a caring father? “Totally. I have many friends who are parents and I often meet their kids. Furthermore, the liberal and understanding values which Jeet espouses totally resonate with my personal thinking and I will be just like that when I have my own kids,” he smiles. Talking further about his character Vishal goes on to say, “Jeet is quite worried about the future and wants to do the best for his family. I know of many fathers who are hyper like him.” Currently in the show, Jeet has lost his job and is spending more time in the house. “It gets quite difficult for a man to sit at home, especially when your kids are not used to having you around all the time. I remember how my dad felt when he was between jobs.” Furthermore, talking about his co-star Rupali Ganguly (Pinky Ahuja) the good-looking lad says, “We have worked together before in Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi, so the on screen chemistry comes quite easy. The equation with the kids in the show is also quite cool. Coming to shoot is like attending a party as everybody brings goodies like cakes, etc.” However, before signing off, Vishal does admit that there are some who feel that he looks too young to play a father. “Everybody is entitled to their opinions, but as far as I am concerned I am playing a young father and if I would have been married in real life, I would have been just like Jeet.” Vishal, don’t bother about what people say. Just focus on your work and keep entertaining your fans. Rest all will be smooth!!!
