Vrinda Dawda
She is loved by her fans. She is charming, beautiful and exudes positivity which turns her fans into fanatics. Yes, we are talking about charming damsel Vrinda Dawda aka Taani from Channel V’s Dil Dostii Dance (D3) who sadly, has made an exit from the show. Yes, this beautiful lass after being a part of the show for one and half years, has ended her journey as Taani. In our want to know more, we got in touch with the actress and asked about her experience being a part of the project. Said the belle: “Yes, my character as Taani has ended; I am not at all feeling bad but taking it in a good spirit. D3 is all about dance and my track was about love. So some day, there was to be an end to the character. I am definitely going to miss the show and my entire D3 cast. I am going to miss the shooting part, eating and then going home together. The set of the show was like my second home,” she shared. So what have you learnt from D3? “This show has given me everything. I am much more confident and can proudly face the camera now. This is the show from where I have earned love, respect and a good fan following. I am going to cherish my D3 journey throughout my life and am glad that I have made a mark and know I have a long way to go,” she informed. Who will miss you the most from the show? Frankly speaking, all of them. Everyone was very sweet to me and am happy that I am not going empty handed but with the love and support of many people. In fact, on my last day they planned a surprise farewell party for me. I cut the cake and was flooded with gifts. We partied and danced till midnight. After all this, what more can one ask for,” Vrinda questioned. What about your future plans? “Well, I haven’t thought about it yet, but I am definitely not quitting television,” she quipped. Lastly any message for your fans? “I would thank them from the bottom of my heart for loving me so much and for their good wishes and beautiful collages. Keep loving me as always. When contacted, Lavanya Anand, Content Head, Channel [V] clarified, "Taani's character was always etched to be finite and the storyline has been moving towards that goal. Her track with Rey has been very well received and we wanted to always give the character a dignified and a graceful exit of a girl who decides to go in search of her identity outside of being someone's girlfriend or sister. While the character may not be present in the near future, you never know which direction the story journey takes." Vrinda have a shinning future ahead!!!
