MUMBAI: The episode sees how Vedika asks Kartik to sign the divorce papers so that they can end their marriage and Naira can rightfully return back into his life. As Kartik is about to sign the papers, dadi faints. The doctor treats her and asks the family if something shocked dadi as her BP had shot up. She leaves after informing everyone that her condition is now stable. The family discusses how difficult it must be for Vedika. Later, Vansh and Kairav comes downstairs and wonder why everyone was looking upset. Soon they see the divorce papers lying on the ground and decide to check what it is. Vedika snatches the paper from Kairav’s hands in time and tells them that it’s her papers. Kartik and Naira sit down to talk. Naira keeps telling Kartik that none of this would’ve happened if she hadn’t returned. Kartik explains to her that he would’ve just been in a forced relationship with Vedika. He says that whatever happened, happened for the best as they wouldn’t have been able to fool their family for too long about their feelings for each other. 

Suddenly, dadi sees a nightmare where Vedika overdoses and commits suicide as she becomes hopeless because of the divorce. She wakes up panicking asking everyone to help Vedika and save her. Everyone tries to calm her down. Vedika comes to the room as she hears dadi screaming out her name. She assures her that she is fine. Dadi apologises to Vedika as she is the reason she has to face such sorrows today. Vedika tells her that she is also the reason that she got to be a part of such a beautiful family. Vedika doesn’t let dadi feel guilty. Later, Naira goes to the temple in the house and asks Lord Krishna why is their happiness coming at the cost of Vedika’s pain. She feels guilty for hurting Vedika’s feelings. Vedika comes there and talks to Naira. She tells her that she realised that Kartik only loved Naira after her marriage. She tells Naira that it would’ve been wrong to keep him stuck in this marriage because he would always be in love with Naira. Kartik, Naira and Vedika pray to god.

Later, Kartik signs the divorce papers and hands them to Vedika. A house help arrives with Vedika’s bag and everyone insists her to not leave. Vedika tells them that she would stay with Pallavi for a few days then once the divorce is finalised she would decide what is to be done next. Devyani, Kaveri and Naksh arrive there too and see Vedika leaving. Kaveri asks her to come home as she’s like a daughter to them. Vedika hugs her but tells her that it’s time that she leaves. Vansh and Kairav tell Vedika that they would miss her. Suddenly, Vedika’s bag falls and opens up. Kartik’s image falls out from her bag and Kairav asks her why does she have his father’s photo in her bag. Vedika picks it up and tells Kairav that she put it in her bag by mistake. Vedika takes one last look at the family and leaves with tears in her eyes. Later, both the families discuss about what is to be done next. They all decide that they will have to validate Kartik and Naira’s relationship before Kairav begins to develop questions about it. They decide to at least perform some rituals and gets Kartik and Naira married soon. They call Kartik and Naira to discuss. Both of them hide behind pillars far from each other and overhear their families discussion. Kartik feels like Naira would need some more time while Naira decides to leave it up to Kartik as she’s sure he must’ve thought of something. Soon they both collide and Naira falls but Kartik saves her. As they pass again, this time Kartik slips and Naira holds him. She gets nervous and leave him suddenly and he falls on the ground. As he gets up, he gets on his knees before Naira. Kairav asks him why is he on one knee in front of Naira. Kartik remembers the time he got on his knee and confessed his love to Naira. He gets up awkwardly and doesn’t reply to Kairav. Kairav tells Vansh that sometimes his parents act really funny.
