Zee TV's Buddha team celebrates Buddha Purnima in Delhi

The story of spiritual leader Buddha has today become extremely popular through Zee TV’s Buddha. The show produced by B.K Modi have people hooked with everyone keen on knowing more about the enlightened sage. And today (14 May) on the occasion of Buddha Purnima (birth anniversary), the acclaimed producer will be hosting a special dinner with renowned people of the Buddhist community coming together. The dinner for 250 people will be hosted at Buddha mansion, the house of B K Modi in Delhi and a delegate from China will also reportedly be attending the dinner party. The story of Buddha will be presented for the guest and the AV of the meeting of the Buddha team with the Dalai Lama will also be showcased there. Informs the Creative Producer of the show Ridhwana Khan who is in Delhi for the event, “We have been receiving tremendous response from the youth and interestingly most are males. We are building up our brand digitally and hope to reach out to the world with our show. Our aim to spread peace and compassion has been received really well and it is just a start for we have loads of plans in our kitty.” For fans who have been wanting special episodes, she reveals, “We are starting with the kahani abtak series of two hours from next week, which our viewers can enjoy. Also we have some interesting plans in the pipeline, till then continue watching our show and supporting us on this peace mission.” Meanwhile, Himanshu Soni who plays Buddha in the show says, “We decorated our sets and celebrated the occasion with a small get together. There was a different divine aura on the sets today and we all enjoyed remembering the great leader. Also, I would want people to follow our show and know more about his teachings which would make them aware about respecting and worshipping themselves.” We wish the team a happy Buddha Purnima.
