MUMBAI: Justh, a name that has recently been making waves in the music industry, is the creative genius behind the viral sensation "Chor." Formerly a Chartered Accountant, Justh's journey from the world of finance to the realm of music is as intriguing as his music itself.

"Chor," released in December 2023, quickly became a chart-topper, captivating audiences with its catchy tunes and relatable lyrics. The song's popularity soared, making it the most viral track on Spotify in India and globally. The accompanying music video has also garnered over 1.5 million views on YouTube, with celebrities and influencers joining in on the craze by creating reels featuring the song.

In an interview with the Indian Express, Justh shed light on his artistic philosophy, emphasizing that his goal was never to seek recognition for his art. Preferring to keep his real name private, Justh explained, "I think there is no such thing as a stage name or a non-stage name. Justh is only making tea. Justh is only having his food and Justh is only performing. So I don’t believe in this concept like this is a stage name and this is a non-stage name."

Justh draws inspiration from the literary works of Rabindranath Tagore, which is evident in the depth and complexity of his music. However, he chooses not to elucidate the meaning behind his songs, preferring to leave them open to interpretation by his listeners. He believes that like poets and authors, musicians should allow their audience to derive their meanings from their creations.

Beyond the success of "Chor," Justh is a well-traveled artist known for his musical prowess. He has performed at various prestigious venues in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York, as well as at renowned Indian venues such as The Habitat, Bandcamp, Prithvi Theatre, Hive, and The Cuckoo Club. Additionally, he has graced the stage at college fests and music festivals like Under 25, Spoken Fest, Tribe Vibe, Lil Flea, and more.

Justh's rapid ascent in the music industry underscores his versatility as an artist and his ability to captivate audiences with his unique blend of talent and creativity.
