MUMBAI: One of our best memories growing up was receiving ‘pocket money’ or the money our parents and relatives gave us on festive occasions.

Television star Shashank Vyas, popular for his stint in Balika Vadhu as Dr. Jagdish and Jaana Na Dil Se Door as Captain Ravish Ramakant Vashist, shares one such memory in a tête-à-tête with TellyChakkar.

The heartthrob has grown as an actor and is currently all set to make his female fans go gaga with his role in Colors’ Roop - Mard Ka Naya Swaroop.

I don’t think so.

How much did you receive as your first pocket money?

It was Rs. 20.

It was a 4-figure salary.

I would say, my house.

Definitely, yes!

Neither do I gamble nor would I like to try my luck at gambling.

No, I haven’t.

I have never bought one.

Yes, I do invest.

How much you have saved?

Not too much, but a decent 20% of my income.

Are you a spendthrift or a miser?

Miser

What would your dream bank balance be?

Now, since it’s a dream bank balance, it’s better to keep it a secret.
