After Gadar 2, Bhool Bhaulaiyaa 2 Drishyam 2 and more, is nostalgia the only way to bring the audience back to theatres?

The audience fell in love with OTT platforms and it took a long time for the audience to shift from OTT back to theatres but we did not get to see a lot of mega blockbusters like Pathaan, Jawan, Gadar 2 and Animal. Seeing how remakes and sequels have become a trend, is playing with the nostalgia the only way to attract attention of audience?

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan vs Maidaan box office day 16: Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff starrer and Ajay Devgn starrer show stability

Both Maidaan and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan were supposed to be released on 10th April, the release dates got postponed and eventually they both released on 11th April. It seems the clash was inevitable. BMCM got a far better opening than Maidaan as the audience was more excited to watch the action comedy starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.

Ace director Priyadarshan CONFIRMED his reunion with Akshay Kumar after 15 years and remarked on Hera Pheri and Bhool Bhulaiyaa sequels

The actor-director pair has created history at the box office with their comedic blockbusters Hera Pheri (2000), Bhagam Bhag (2006), Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), and De Dana Dan (2009). Priyadarshan stated that he and Akshay are working together again on a project after a 15-year break in an interview with the popular news portal.
