Ishkq In Paris

Prem Raj whose Parisian love story produced by Preity Zinta ran into rough weather because of his ill health among other problems is very hurt to read that Preity has cut herself off from him and the project. Says Prem emotionally, “That is so hurtful mean and damaging. <em>Ishkq In Paris</em> is as much Preity’s baby as mine. She is very much in touch with me. We’ve no problems with one another at all. This story is very saddening.”

Delayed for various reasons, Preity Zinta's comeback film Ishkq In Paris will hit the silver screens next year. "For all of you asking <em>Ishkq In Paris</em> will release in 2013. We got delayed finishing it due to my director falling sick. Besides that it looks great," the actress-producer tweeted. Whatever may have been the reason for its delay, the actress is quite positive about the film. "Sometimes we have no control over life and destiny! I believe things happen for a reason. 'Ishkq In Paris' gets more special to me now," Preity added.

It takes guts, not to mention a whole lot of surplus funds, to postpone a film’s release. Preity Zinta has not only put off the release of her maiden production’s release indefinitely she has made it clear to her entire team that the film would be released only when the director Prem Raj who is seriously ill, is able to complete all the post-production work.

That Salman Khan is a yaaron ke yaar and would go that extra mile for a friend is well known. That he makes a cameo appearance in pal Preity Zinta’s film Ishkq In Paris is also well-known. What is not known is that Salman not only plays himself, that is Salman Khan, in Preity’s Parisian production, he also gives a live stage performance in Paris, singing in front of a 5,000-strong shrieking, cheering fans in Paris as he croons the Punjabi-Bhangra number <em>Kudiye Di Kurti</em>.

Who says filmmakers work in isolation and don’t have the inclination to help their colleagues? Producer Preity Zinta has now got a big hand of support from Imtiaz ali when her film needed additional location to complete her shooting. Thanks to Imtiaz’s timely intervention Zinta’s crew leaves on Tuesday night for Prague to complete the shooting.
