A petition, objecting to a scene showing Abhishek Bachchan bashing an advocate in a scene from Bol Bachchan, has been filed in a court.
According to Manish Purohit, counsel of Mahmood Khan, the petitioner, a scene in the very beginning of the film shows Abhishek Bachchan beating up a lawyer, who was incidentally fighting his case in a court. The scene appeared offensive to Khan and defamatory to the image and prestige of lawyers and the profession of law.

Demanding an immediate drop down of the scene, Khan moved a petition in the court of the Allahabad High Court chief judicial magistrate (ACJM). While admitting the petition, the Court has fixed 4 August for the recording of the statements of the petitioner.
Before this, a similar petition was filed against films such as Emraan Hashmi-starrer Shanghai, Akshay Kumar-starrer Rowdy Rathore and many more terming some scene or songs were offensive to the sentiments of people.
