MUMBAI: Simar Kaur’s new party anthem Laal Pari from Housefull 5 is everywhere — from Instagram reels to car speakers, and she couldn’t be happier. But what makes this hit even more special for Simar is the fun-filled journey of creating it with two people she truly admires — Yo Yo Honey Singh and Alfaaz.
Talking about the energy she felt from the beginning, Simar shared, “Koi bhi agar Laal Pari sunega you know you started vibing to the song, and you know ki bhot bada heat hone vala hai. Toh obviously we got that vibe when I was super excited ki wow maza aane wala hai!!”
Simar has known both Yo Yo Honey Singh and Alfaaz for a long time, and she says working with them is always a great experience. “Recording with both of them is always very special. I know Alfaaz and Honey Sir since really long, and it's always a fun session with them. There’s so much to learn.”
She also gave fans a peek into her personal recording method. “Jab mai lyrics padhti hu… chahe vo kisi bhi gaane ke ho, I try my level best ki mai us lyrics ke accordingly apne aap ko… us zone me rahu. I was trying to give justice to the lyrics of *Laal Pari.”
The process was full of laughter, dancing, and creativity.
“Yo Yo was helping me, Alfaaz was helping me, so I think the entire thing was very fun! Everybody was dancing while recording.”
Simar’s favorite part? “The hook Laal Pari itself… maine vo do octave me gayi hai… especially the low one. It stucks in your head!” With that kind of behind-the-scenes joy, it's no surprise Laal Pari is such a bop!
