MUMBAI: Actor Deepak Paramesh, who was last seen in Ground Zero alongside Emraan Hashmi, has always embraced life beyond the frame. While work takes up most of his calendar, travelling remains an essential part of who he is.
“New experiences have always thrilled me—I was eager to embrace the role of a tourist,” he shares. The spark for travel, he says, was first ignited during his school days. “Sports tours and city trips were exciting. Looking back, those moments truly shaped my love for travel.”
Being an actor comes with its own set of perks, and for Deepak, one of the biggest is mobility. “Work keeps me on the move—and that’s one of the things I love most about my job! Exploring new locations is always a thrill,” he says, adding that he makes sure to carve out time for at least one personal trip every year.
Balancing schedules between work and travel isn’t always easy, but Deepak seems to have cracked the code. “I try to align my work commitments with travel opportunities. When work takes me to a new place, I make time to explore. Honestly, when you enjoy both the journey and the job, the balance comes naturally—it never really feels like a burden.”
When it comes to travel style, Deepak leans toward solo adventures. “There’s a certain freedom in it that I truly value. Group trips can feel a bit too structured—they take away the spontaneity I love.”
Unlike the typical tourist chasing landmarks, Deepak prefers the less explored routes. “For me, it’s more about the experience: trying local food, discovering hidden cafés, and exploring on foot. That’s where the real charm lies.”
So what goes into his travel backpack? “Phone charger, portable battery backup, travel card, shades, sunscreen, and lip balm—I keep it simple,” he laughs.
Looking ahead, Deepak’s travel wishlist includes Japan and Antarctica. “Destinations with culture, history, nature, and great food excite me. My bucket list keeps expanding.”
Whether on screen or on the road, it’s clear that Deepak Paramesh thrives on discovery—and isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
