Ashwini Koul to play Ratan's love interest in MTV Fanaah

The good looking and charming Ashwini Koul, who is currently seen caught between a love triangle in MTV Splitsvilla 7, has bagged a plump role in the channel’s upcoming fantasy show Fanaah (Lost Boy Productions and BBC Media Worldwide). The actor will be seen playing a human named Ashwin (how original!) in the show and will play the love interest of Ratan Rajpoot. Ratan, playing Ira, will be a supernatural creature with very strong powers. The show that is on the lines of popular international series Vampire Diaries has TV heartthrob Karan Kundra playing a vampire and Rithvik Dhanjani a werewolf. Gorgeous Chetna Pande, who will be seen as a human in the show, is paired opposite Karan. Confirming the news, Ashwini avers, “All I can say is that I am a part of the show. Fanaah is going to be a really interesting show and hence I would not like to reveal anything more on it.” The show launches on 21 July.
