The raging fire that broke at Lotus Business Park (Andheri, Mumbai) yesterday (18 July), which left one fireman dead, and 21 others injured has pained Hrithik Roshan to no end. Hrithik who owns offices on 4th, 5th, 15th,16th and 17th floors in the now partly charred corporate building rushed to the spot on hearing about the blaze. The fire which engulfed the top two floors of the building started raging at 9.40 am in the morning. The fire brigade had to upgrade their disaster call to 'Grade Two' and a dozen of fire engines had to be called in to extinguish the fire. Navy choppers too were pressed into action to evacuate the trapped firemen while the policemen on ground had a tough time keeping pesky onlookers away from the spot where the fire was raging on. Eventually the flames were doused by 5.20 pm, after a massive struggle that led to the death of one brave firefighter. A bereaved Hrithik Roshan offered his deepest condolences and also saluted the courage of the firefighters who risked their lives to keep others safe. "Respect for the brave firemen who risked their lives today to extinguish d flames. True courage," Hrithik wrote on Twitter. The police have completely sealed the building for the moment and investigations are on.
