Partho Mitra, who was directing Balaji’s new show revolving around a middle-aged love story Bade Acche Lagte Hain on Sony, has been replaced by Ravindra Gautam. And the twist doesn’t end here. A source says, “Partho Mitra was roped in by Balaji to direct Bade Acche Lagte Hain but was soon eased out of the show. He was on board for just four episodes and later Bajaji’s favourite Ravindra Gautam replaced him. Currently Ravindra is directing the show and the brief given to him is to focus on the chemistry between the leads Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar. Ravindra Gautam also has his own production house and his show Armano Ka Balidan – Aarakshan has just gone off-air.” Ravindra confirmed the news and said, “I joined the show a week back after Balaji approached me and I have been asked to treat the show in a natural way.” Talking about the upcoming projects with his production house he says, “We are working on a story and it should be ready in three months time.” We also spoke to Swapna ji, who said, “Yes, I was to direct the show but I have been caught up in the final work related to my film (Ishq Unplugged). Apart from that I also have RBO (Rang Badalti Odhani) to direct. However, if I can sort out my dates, I would love to do the show.”
