What seems to be enchanting from the outside may sometimes appear to be deceptive from the inside. Identifying the right market and making the right investments is the current need of the hour. Well in a colloquy with Shaleen Malhotra who was seen to be playing ACP Arjun Rawte on Star Plus for the crime fiction show Arjun suggested a few financial tips. Have a look.
How important is money to you?
Money is very important to me but not more than my family. If you need to buy something for yourself abstract things like love won’t get you anything. Money is the source to fulfilling your materialistic dreams. Everything comes down to money in the end, doesn’t it?
Are you an impulsive buyer?
Yes. It’s hard to admit but I am one. That’s the reason I don’t handle my expenses. I don’t make the right investments.
What are the investments that you have made?
Well, I did invest into some gold recently apart from that there are other investments too which I wouldn’t really want to publicize.
What has been your most expensive purchase?
My car has been my most expensive purchase however not till date. I have purchased a Ford Endeavour recently for myself.
Do you feel financially secure?
No. The reason I guess I don’t feel financially secure is because it’s human tendency of feeling insecure especially when it comes to investments and dealing with money at large.
Who handles your expenses?
I used to handle my own expenses until I got married (giggles).
What was your first salary?
In the year 2007, I remember anchoring for a mall activity and they agreed to pay me nearly six hundred rupees for each day.
How much money do you carry every day?
I don’t carry money with me but what I do carry with me without fail are my credit cards.
Your advice to new investors?
Invest and keep investing, but not to the extent of ruining your happiness. Just stay happy and keep investing in the right market rather than regretting later.
