Super commitment: Nikita Sharma shoots nonstop for 72 hours

The very pretty and vivacious Nikita Sharma recently suffered from lack of sleep. Wondering why? Recently, the workaholic girl was left working non-stop for more than 72 hours without sleep while shooting for MTV Fanaah and Zing’s Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. Sharing her ordeal, Nikita avers, “Thankfully both the shows are of the same production house (Lost Boy Productions) and we were shooting for both in Madh, Mumbai. It was a tough time and I was amazed how I could manage to do it. It’s just the love for work that made me do it, but yes it was most definitely a very different experience.” She further informs, “My phone also got discharged completely and that left both the show’s EPs to communicate the timing of my shoots with each other. It was hilarious. I was shooting for an hour for one show and then moved to the other. Also both were dramatic and emotionally challenging characters, and I was totally drained out. I experienced such an excruciating back ache and my eyes were bloodshot red (smiles) by the time I got done.” So how co-operative were the co-stars? “There were all so wonderful. Also since PTKK had such wonderful actors like Rajesh Khera, Rupali Ganguly and Abhishek Malik, I did not want to miss the chance and thus said yes to the episode, even though I was shooting for Fanaah. I was excited and to do two very different characters, and this was a great experience as an actor. I had to shift character shades as I stepped into the other set,” says Nikita. And finally sharing some funny anecdotes the beauty quips, “You know what I missed the most- bathing (laughs). Since I was on sets I had to do with perfumes and deos. I am not used to staying this way and thus it was quite a tough time for me. But all said and done I know all this would only help me grow as an actor and individual, so am all set for more; so bring it on!” That’s the way to do it Nikita!
