No. To be honest, I don't understand this festival called Raksha Bandhan. And I think it's become a fashion these days to celebrate Raksha Bandhan. Why? It has become a fashion to get rakhis tied on this day from your sister and then conveniently forget your duties the next day. A brother should be the one who promises to protect you from all sorts of harm each and every single day of the year. You don't get brothers like that today. A man will become a bhai on Raksha Bandhan and the next day he will turn into a gaai (cow) and bhais (buffalo). The one who can't protect his sister doesn't deserve to be a brother.
