Himanshu Soni, Indian Television’s ‘Buddha’ will now don the avatar of Lord Shiv who comes down to Earth to help an ardent follower of his to choose the right path in life!! Yes, this is the exclusive information we at Tellychakkar.com have got regarding Zee TV’s upcoming show. Titled Neeli Chatri Wale, the show will be produced by Ashwini Dheer’s Garima Productions. The show will be similar to the concept of the Akshay Kumar – Paresh Rawal movie Oh My God. A reliable and well-placed source states that Himanshu Soni will portray the role of Lord Shiv who comes to earth in human form. He will come to the assistance of a rich man, who is his follower. Initially, the man would not believe that the God himself has descended to help him. However, with the story progression, he would believe in him and seek his help every time he faces a problem. The God would be seen only by the rich man, and not by anyone else. While Himanshu will play the God in human form, seasoned actor Yashpal Sharma will play the rich man who will seek his advice and guidance. Yashpal is known for challenging roles in films like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Gangajal, Chameli, Lagaan, Rowdy Rathore, Gangs of Wasseypur to name a few. On TV, he has been part of Mera Naam Karegi Roshan, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. This unique show by Ashwini Dheer will be a bi-weekly on Zee TV, which will air for one hour every Saturday and Sunday. The show is expected to go on air in September 2014. The promo of the show is expected to break in the next couple of days. When contacted, Himanshu confirmed this piece of news saying, “Yes, I am playing the lead in Ashwini Dheer’s upcoming show on Zee TV titled Neeli Chatri Wale.” Yashpal Sharma too confirmed that he is presently shooting for the Zee TV show.
