Vikas Manaktala is a renowned name in the world of Indian television. Playing a baddie in Sony TV’s Main Naa Bhoolungi, he won hearts of television lovers. The show went off air recently and we spoke to him on his feelings about the same. "I could not believe when I learned about it. It was very shocking for me. You work hard for nine months and all of a sudden the show shuts. It really hurts. My role was very different and after my performance as Hooda in Left Right Left, people accepted me in this show.” So what plans now? “Well, I will be going to my hometown and then on an abroad trip. Professionally, I have been approached for Bigg Boss but I still have to think on accepting the offer.” Vikas continued stating, “I don’t want to restrict myself as a professional but for me to say yes to a role, it has to be appealing. It’s my dream to work under the YRF banner. My favourite directors are Vishal Bhardwaj, Raj Kumar Hirani, Farhan Akhtar. My favourite actresses are Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt.” Coming to your personal life, there were reports about you dating Gunjan Walia. Any truth to it? “No. I am very much single and I am not dating with Gunjan. We are just good friends.” We wish him all the luck.
