Deepak Chadha roped in as the main antagonist in Sony TV's Humsafars

Actor Deepak Chadha needs no introduction!! A well-known name in both the Bollywood and TV circuits, the man will spear-head the ship of 4 Lions Films’ upcoming Sony TV show, Humsafars as the main antagonist. Chadha has earlier done TV shows like Bidaai, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Hitler Didi, Parichay, Sasural Simar Ka, Shubh Vivah, Punar Vivah, Hawan, Phulwa. On the big screen, he has done movies like Lafange Parindey, Tannu Weds Mannu, R…Rajkumar and many more. In Humsafars, he will essay the character of Rehman, a corrupt and ruthless MLA who would have the capabitlity to create any sort of chaos in the society he would live in. He would be a family friend of the lead protagonist, Harshad Chopda. When contacted, Deepak Chadha refused to talk about the show, citing that it was too early to comment. The actor is presently working on many movies, of which Daizy Villa is one. As we know, the first teaser of Humsafars, produced by 4 Lions Films is presently on air. This happens to be the second Muslim social story coming from the production house after their success with the show on Zee TV, Qubool Hai. Humsafars will have Harshad Chopda and new girl Shivya Pathania in lead roles. Madhumalti Kapoor, Purva Parag, Darpan Shrivastava, Vibha Chibber, Sehban Azim will play pivotal roles.
