On the joyous occasion, Tellychakkar.com got into a conversation with Producer Sumeet H Mittal on this memorable journey of making the show a super hit. Excerpts: Diya Aur Baati Hum's journey continues to move on...how is the feeling like? Diya Aur Baati Hum’s journey from 2011 to now has been a wonderful experience. I can say this on the behalf of my whole team that we continue to have a fantastic time till date and look forward to our shoot every day. Every milestone that we cross together for this show reaffirms our faith in our story and gives us the drive to move on with passion and determination. What are the personal milestones that you have achieved as Producer of Diya Aur Baati Hum. Explain. As a producer, I am and will continue to strive to give the best to my audience. I treat every day as a learning experience and that’s what makes the journey special. Has there come a day or situation when you have ever thought that the show is off its prime and you will not mind letting it go? With Diya Aur Baati Hum, we have created a lasting connect with the masses which is what we at Shashi Sumeet strive for. There is no reason for us to let it go. As long as the audience continues to love the show and shower it with their support, we will continue with it. Three years down the lane, you have come up with a track which is huge, that is the comeback of RK. What are the expectations from this track? Like I have always maintained in my earlier interviews, our only expectation from our shows is that till the time it is on air it should continue to get the love and support of its audience.. That’s our biggest gratification and that's what we strive for. We have heard this track was in the planning for many months now. How did you conceive this plot? What lies ahead for Sooraj and Sandhya? As the story unfolds, we have a lot more in Sooraj and Sandhya's life. But we can’t reveal much on that now, you will all have to wait and watch. What can viewers look forward to in the track to come? With RK’s comeback in the show, there will be loads of action, interesting drama, and lot of emotions that can be seen in the track ahead. What are the goals for the future? Since inception we were driven by the goal of providing quality content to our viewers. Till date, this continues to be our driving force. As a producer, have you reached a stage of satisfaction when it comes to the show? Or are you still to reach that? Creativity never reaches a point where one gets satisfied.. it is a lifelong pursuit.
