Yesterday, we reported about MTV Fanaah ending prematurely from its decided schedule owing to illness of actors.
And now, Tellychakkar.com has exclusively learnt that the Star Plus show Saraswatichandra has met with the same fate.
Yes, the Sphereorigins serial that was to end on 18 October will now air its last episode on 20 September.
If you are wondering what made the makers and the channel decide on wrapping the project in such a hurry, here we have the answer.
Shares an actor from the show on account of anonymity, “Since everyone knows that the show is going off air nobody seems to be interested in working. They report late and ask for leaves now and then. It has become troublesome for the production house. And not finding a solution to this they have decided to pull the plug on it.”
The show stars popular television faces Gautam Rode and Jennifer Winget in the leads.
Producer Sunjoy Wadhwa did not revert to our calls and messages.
We have info!!!
The channel’s ongoing show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (Balaji Telefilms) will shift from its 11 pm slot and air at Saraswatichandra’s timeslot of 7:30 pm (original episode). Repeat telecast of YHM will air in the late night slot.
A channel spokesperson confirmed the time shift development.
