Rajan Shahi's 'lucky mascot' Alok Nath to narrate the opening episode of Itti Si Khushi

Rajan Shahi and Alok Nath
The association of veteran actor Alok Nath and ace Producer Rajan Shahi dates back to Director’s Kut’s flagship show, Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai. Since then, Alok Nath has always been there to guide the entire team. Also, he happens to be the ‘lucky mascot’ for the Producer who has high regards for the actor. After his very successful stint in Bidaai, Alok Nath provided the voiceover in Director’s Kut’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in its very first episode, and had introduced the characters to the audience. The man had later featured in a very important role in the production house’s Sony TV show, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge. Now, Alok Nath is back to cheer the Producer by being part of his new show Itti Si Khushi on Sony TV as the narrator. The show has Smriti Kalra and Anuj Sachdeva in lead roles. News coming in is that Alok Nath has provided the voiceover in the opening episode of the show, which premieres tonight at 8 PM. He will be enlightening the audience with the basic plot and subject of the show. Talking about having his lucky mascot on board yet again, Producer Rajan Shahi told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, Director’s Kut has a very good association with Alok Nath. We look up to his suggestions and feedback in everything that we start afresh. After taking Bidaai to the pinnacle of success, we got him back as narrator for Yeh Rishta. Also, he was part of our Sony TV show earlier. Now, he will be seen as narrator once again in Itti Si Khushi. ” Having said this, it was not a smooth sail for Rajan to get Alok Nath’s involvement in his new show. When the first episode’s master was to be delivered, Alok Nath was not in town, and the Producer had to deliver the master without Alok Nath’s voiceover. However, with Alok Nath getting back to town yesterday (28 September), Rajan saw to it that he got back his master from the channel and made the necessary additions with the narration. Confirming this, Rajan said, “Yes, I was very much disappointed when I could not get Alok Nath’s voiceover in the first case. But yesterday, when he got back, I decided to get my master back and include his narration in the first episode. I am glad that we could make it happen, as he has been involved in most of Director’s Kut’s new launches. He will be sitting with us tonight to watch the first episode.” Three cheers to this actor-producer bonding!!
