Mohit Malik talks about his 'fan'tastic experience in Chicago

Mohit Malik
Mohit Malik, must say is playing his dream role in the Zee TV show Doli Armaanon Ki (spellbound Productions), being the man who many would love to 'hate'. Recently, the actor received a remarkable feedback when he was in Chicago, USA for the India Independence Parade. Talking about the adulation he received for his character, Mohit said, "The people out there love Doli Armanon Ki like anything. They are huge fans of the show. And they love to hate Samrat (smiles)." On the kind of people he usually encounters, Mohit explained, "Around 50percent of people love to hate Samrat, but they do appreciate me as an actor for enacting the role so very well. There are 20percent who think I am exactly like Samrat and fear to talk to me. However, the remaining percentage of people understand and realize that I only play the character and I am nowhere close to it in real life." Also, Mohit is glad that his show gives out a social message about domestic violence. "I am happy to be part of such a show. Playing Samrat is not an easy ball-game, but I am thrilled to have received all the love from my fans." There is one more thing about Samrat that has worked wonders with viewers, according to Samrat. "People have come up to me and told me that they like the way in which I speak my dialogues. When the show began, I was keen on working on a particular way of dialogue delivery for this role, and I feel happy that it has been noticed and appreciated by audience." Continue your good job, Mohit!
